Ariff did a solo performance at Pete Teo's Songwriters Round 19 at Alexis, Great Eastern Mall, Ampang... together in the round were Shanon Shah, Eugene Ng and Izzy Mohamed... Ariff played No Longer Blue, She Once Said and When I Am King in the first set and It Took A While, Lagu Malas and Find Me in the second set... Aie later got on stage during the open-mic part of the show and played The End...

did three dates for the june series of the KLue / Starbucks Music Series event... the first show we did was at Starbucks Coffee, Uptown and we played The Spider And The Fly (the Rolling Stones), Pretend Sometime, Mengapa Marah?, The End, Can't Take My Eyes Off You (Andy Williams) and Lagu Malas... the second show was at Starbucks Coffee, The Curve and we played The Spider And The Fly (the Rolling Stones), Pretend Sometime, The End, Wise Up, Across The Universe (the Beatles) and Lagu Malas... the third show we played for the series was at Starbucks Coffee, Pusat Bandar Damansara where we played Karma Chameleon (Culture Club), Pretend Sometime, The End, Mengapa Marah?, Wise Up and Lagu Malas... Lucy In The Loo and Telebury did their sets after us on all three dates...

Seihon, Lied and Qings & Kueens were the main performers for the event and thank you Warren from KLue for slotting us in as the fourth and final act for the evening...
5th february 2005 - Tsunami Charity gig
with Nazneen still away, Shahril and Ariff played at a tsunami charity gig as a twosome on a very, very sunny Saturday morning at Balai Seni Lukis Negara in Jalan Tun Razak... started our set with It Took A While followed by Pretend Sometime and a very good friend of the band, Nan Blues, who did his set earlier, joined us on stage for Lagu Malas where he played the harmonica and sang backing vocals, Nan then took over on lead vocals and guitar when we played Blues Gang's Apo Nak Di Kato as our closing number... other performers that day were Electroprimitive, Freelove, Kartini, Meor, Nik, Alone and Azmyl Yunor... thank you Seihon for inviting us to play at the event...

the "unofficial" official beginning of the sofa sessions... at Mokhtar's studio and what was effectively our third practice together, we decided to record the session and did a few live takes of four songs... Sarajevo Boy, Pretend Sometime, It Took A While and Lagu Malas... three of the songs are in the sofa sessions' first CD...
